Coats for Kids Program

The staff and residents of Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center (119 Providence St., Worcester) were pleased to collect and donate more than 30 coats and 50 hats and gloves to children in the Worcester Public Schools. This donation was part of the Worcester Public Schools “Coats for Kids” campaign.

The Worcester Public Schools Coats for Kids Program provides new winter outerwear to children in need throughout the district which includes 48 schools, the Worcester Head Start Program, the Worcester Family Partnership Program and several area homeless shelters.

Liz Vecchio, Coats for Kids Program Coordinator, thanked Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center for their generous donation by stating “It is because of community members like you that make the Coats for Kids Program a success. We couldn’t do it without you.”
